Instructional Soccer

Play soccer games and learn skills through experience! Whether your young player is interested in playing soccer at a recreational level or a more competitive level of club soccer, SoccerZone is the perfect place to begin developing their skills.

SoccerZone in Portage and Oshtemo has instructional classes that are fun, provide positive reinforcement and offer a great development opportunity. We have these once per week classes for ages 3 – 12. All sessions offer instruction of basic soccer skills and game play with an emphasis on fun & socialization with other kids.

Mommy + Me (Daddy Too): 3 Year Olds w/ Parent

CLASS FEE: $30.00

Koala Kids: 4 Year Olds

CLASS FEE: $30.00

Kangaroo Kickers: 5-7 Year Olds

CLASS FEE: $48.00

A co-ed 45-minute instructional program with emphasis on continuation of basic ball handling along with dribbling, shooting, trapping and passing. Time split between instruction and game play. Call Now to join a class! 269-329-0171

Junior Stars: 8-9 Year Olds

CLASS FEE: $48.00

A co-ed 45-minute instructional program with emphasis on basic ball handling along with dribbling, shooting, trapping and passing. Time is split between instruction and game play. Call Now to join a class! 269-329-0171


Premier Player Academy: 8-16 Year Olds

Directed by SoccerZone’s Neil Ridgway, this program is designed for the youth select player who is ambitious about his or her game, wants to improve his/her skill and loves soccer. Regular training with a skill development emphasis will be provided – this program runs for 17 weeks and has limited spots available! Players who register must love the game and want to improve.

Registration fee includes a full uniform (jersey, shorts), ball, hoodie, sack pack, all field time, training fees, etc. Players are expected to play with their regular team in SoccerZone indoor leagues as this is intended to be supplemental to your primary team play or training.
